In the fast-changing world, fashion also has undergone a drastic change to become gender-neutral. The Apparel fashion of Female models wearing menswear and vice-versa took the world by vast acceptability. The fashion houses cashed on a big business, business-persons oriented their business strategies around gender-free dresses and accessories

Gender-neutral Apparel has thus become a Global Fashion Trend (GFT).

In the World of Fashion, a hot and exciting term emerged in the name & style of “a seismic shift” that contained media reports and analyses. The fast pacing trends in the Fashion Industry in the name and fashion of Gender-Neutral clothing are gaining worldwide momentum.

Now, most fashion brands are re-orienting themselves around a Gender-Neutral range of fashion products.

Gender-Neutrality of fashion goes to stay and grow at a fast pace, expecting gains from expected $143 billion spendings over the next four years!

As of the latest, the well-known luxury brands like Gucci, Saint Laurent and Haider Ackerman, and others as Proenza Schouler, Rodarte have organized menswear & womenswear shows with runaway success.

On the other side, the fastest growing fashion brand Zara has innovatively organized a fashion show with models of both sexes dressed up in the same clothing loudly announcing and impacting Gender-Neutrality of fashion as the most acceptable fashion trend of the decade/millennium.

Established brands as Phluid Project, Agender, Rebrand, and others are a big market buzz with Gender-Neutral clothing. It is getting momentum with a flourishing business and fast becoming a big name in the fashion industry.

Fashion Houses apart, the fashion concept of Gender-Neutrality/unisex has been authenticated and reinforced by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for New York Fashion Week.

Paris is globally known for its fast-changing fashion trending. It has also aligned itself with New York in promoting Gender-Neutrality, called Gender Fluidity in Paris, the latest and fast acceptable trend of Clothing Fashion. The whole fashion season of spring/summer 2019 of Paris was overwhelmed by all-over displayed Gender Fluid clothing and accessories and a gainful business.

The media has also played a role in promoting gender-neutrality as a fashion trend. not only as an upcoming fashion event but also as social acceptability.

The media prepared a report focused on the largest departmental store in Finland. Finland is popularly known as a progressive country in terms of gender equality and economic equality. The departmental store dedicated its whole floor to gender-neutral fashion products and nicely named it “One Way.” Major fashion brands as Calvin Klein, Marimekko, Burberry, and Kenzo took part in this fashion show which was a great success. Business was amazingly huge.

After rigorous discussions and conversations, the media found and declared Gucci as the most prominent brand in the context of gender-fluidity in fashion. Gucci proved media right in several fashion shows wherein female models walked wearing clothes from men’s collections and vice-versa.

Gucci launched a campaign to promote gender equality in fashion to prove itself as the frontrunner of this fashion trend.

Gucci coined a name for this fashion trend calling it Chime for Change. It published a report based on young people’s opinions and feelings on gender equality in fashionwear.

Organizations and institutions as Facebook, The Kering Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation helped Gucci people to start the campaign.

Gucci also produced and presented a short film called The Future is Fluid at the Sundance Film Festival.
